My Priorities:
.
* Be a strong voice supporting hard working men and women of the Coulee Region!

* Fight for great Schools that prepare a competitive workforce.

* Stand up for small businesses, the backbone of our economy, to keep and create jobs locally.

* Protect programs like Senior Care and Family Care.

* Bring civility back to Madison!

Be a strong voice supporting hard working men and women of the Coulee Region:
I am a proud Democrat and grew up in a strong union family. I would work to protect workers’ rights to organize, join a union and collectively bargain. I value the benefit of coming to the table to find solutions to our challenges and as a school board member have seen this work effectively.

Fight for great schools that prepare a competitive workforce:
As a long time member of the Holmen School board, I am in schools often and am proud to have graduated from Cashton Public Schools and have my children graduate from Holmen. With the cuts that schools are facing it is important to send someone to Madison who will protect our schools and value their role in job creation and retention in this state.

Stand up for small businesses, the backbone of our economy, to keep and create jobs locally:
Growing up in the Cashton area, my family ran a small business and I had the opportunity to see the challenges they faced in order to make a profit. In my current role as the Executive Director of a local non-profit, I manage similar to the way a small business would and have a track record of doing so successfully.

Protect programs like Senior Care and Family Care:
With a mother in her late 80’s I understand the importance of Senior Care, Family Care, the Homestead Tax Credit, and other programs helping seniors to maintain their quality of life and remain in their home.

Bring civility back to Madison:
I am concerned about the recent events in Madisonnot just with the legislation that has been passed but also with the tone of the discourse that seems to have generated more division. Through the years, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals, both liberals and conservatives, and have the leadership skills necessary to go to Madison and make a difference. I would work hard to bring all parties together and find a way to move forward in a positive and respectful manner.
